•OCTOBER 2006 - New administrative rules for Guaranteed Savings Fund
Since 2003, the Ohio Tuition Trust Authority has reported to account owners on the actuarial deficit of the Guaranteed Savings Fund, which led to the suspension of new contributions. New administrative rules implemented on October 30, 2006 resulted in new policies and procedures for managing your Guaranteed Savings Fund account. The new policies vary based on the age of the beneficiary. These rule changes may affect how you use your account. Changes include limitations on beneficiary transfers, mandatory use of funds and limits on account ownership changes.
