Ohio’s 529 Plan, CollegeAdvantage, proudly supports many statewide outreach programs to encourage young, bright minds to see all of life’s educational possibilities.
We are pleased to join The Toledo Mud Hens and Toledo Lucas County Library to support the Home Run Readers to help students and their families in their efforts to prevent summer slide while school is out. For participating young readers, they can also receive fun prizes from the Mud Hens.
Register for the Home Run Readers with the Mud Hens first. Once enrolled, stop by the Summer Read Station when you visit one of the Toledo Lucas Library branches to show them your enrollment message. The library staff will then provide you the Home Run Readers pamphlet, which contains more details about the program.
Your child needs to read at least five books over the summer. Once done, take your completed pamphlet to redeem for two tickets to any Sunday - Thursday Mud Hens game, excluding July 2, July 3, and Sept. 2. Participants can also then sign up to win additional prizes from Ohio’s 529 Plan.
