FC Cincinnati and Ohio 529, CollegeAdvantage, teamed up to help fans of FCC and college savings score their goals.
One lucky FC Cincinnati fan received the grand prize of a $10,000 college savings award to add to a CollegeAdvantage Direct 529 account. The winner, Michael Niehaus, is planning to share the college savings award between his grandchildren’s Ohio 529 accounts.
Michael Niehaus was joined on the field by his family for the check presentation at the FC Cincinnati game against Los Angeles FC Saturday, Sept. 28. Trisha Good, the executive director of Ohio 529, presented their college savings award check. The two runners-up–Andrew Paulus and Shelly Bailey–won FC Cincinnati prize packages.
