For 18 years, the Dayton Dragons has offered the Dayton Dragons MVP Program to help teachers reward fourth- and fifth-grade students for their success in and out of the classroom. Ohio’s 529 Plan, CollegeAdvantage, is pleased to sponsor this program to encourage these young, bright minds.

The Dragons MVP Program, uses the marketing power of the Dayton Dragons throughout the Miami Valley (Clark, Greene, Miami, Montgomery, and Warren counties) as an educational tool for fourth- and fifth-grade teachers, helping them motivate and reward students for success in the classroom. Fourth- and fifth-grade teachers at public, private, and parochial schools throughout the Miami Valley will receive Dragons MVP award kits to recognize students whom they have selected from the classroom.

Students chosen as a Dayton Dragons MVP will receive four tickets to a special MVP night at a Dragons game, a MVP certificate, enjoy access to the exclusive MVP Zone, and receive a MVP hat. Additionally, some MVPs will be selected to have their success story highlighted in the Dragons gameday program, PlayBall!, as well as participate in an extra opportunity, which could include throwing out the ceremonial first pitch!
