Blue Jackets and Ohio 529 Announce 2024 College Savings Assist Winners

Columbus Blue Jackets and Ohio’s 529 Plan, CollegeAdvantage, teamed up again in 2024 to offer the College Savings Assist to the fans of hockey and education savings. This giveaway ran from Feb. 2 - March 9, 2024

Our grand-prize winner, Patrick Burke, won the $10,000 college savings award! Patrick and his family received their award during the check presentation held Saturday, April 6 at the Blue Jackets win against the Philadelphia Flyers. Patrick plans to use the college savings award to add to his son’s CollegeAdvantage Direct 529 account.

The second-place winner, Vito Royeca, will have Stinger virtually visit their child’s school.

Eight runners-up will receive autographed Blue Jackets memorabilia.
