Skiera family accept their $10,000 Reds College Savings Grand Slam college savings award

The Cincinnati Reds and Ohio 529, CollegeAdvantage, teamed up to help Reds fans hit it out of Great American Ball Park for their education goals.

One lucky Reds fan received the grand prize of a $10,000 college savings award to load the bases for their Ohio Direct 529 account. The winner, Meri Skiera, applied the college savings award to her daughter’s Ohio 529 account.

Meri, her husband, Steve; and their daughter, Emily; and family friend Sophia joined Ohio 529 and the Reds for the award presentation for the Thursday, Sept 19 game against the Atlanta Braves. The second-place winner, Laura Rodgers, had her friends, the Pethel family enjoy the game in her absence.
