The Cincinnati Reds and Ohio 529 CollegeAdvantage teamed up to help Reds fans hit it out of Great American Ball Park for their savings goals.
One lucky Reds fan received a $10,000 college savings award to load the bases for their Ohio 529 account. The grand prize winner, Shannon Maxwell, applied her award to her child’s Ohio 529 account.
Shannon, her husband, Evan, and their daughter, Healy, joined Dave Kemp, the interim executive director for Ohio 529 CollegeAdvantage, and the Reds for the award presentation at the Saturday, Aug. 2 win against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Second-place winner Jamie Luebbe also won suite tickets to enjoy the game.
